When it comes to getting to and from the slopes, there is an extensive set of transportation options that help you get around that offer affordable services to the major ski areas. Transportation to and from the Airport
There are many options for the 35- to 45-minute transfer between Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN) and the city of Steamboat Springs. The most convenient way to fly to Steamboat Springs is via the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). There are 16 airports nationwide that offer direct flights, and hundreds of others offering connecting flights making Steamboat more accessible than ever. Depending on the weather, HDN is an easy 35-45 minute drive to the Bear Claw & Edgemont property.
Transportation to/from Denver International Airport (DEN) is also available. Denver International Airport is the main international airport in Colorado. Depending on weather, travel time to the Bear Claw & Edgemont property from DEN takes 3.5-4.5 hours.

We partner with the best vendors in Steamboat Springs that offer shared shuttle services from HDN and DEN or private car services from HDN and Bob Adams Airport. When you book a stay at either Bear Claw or Edgemont, getting around town is easy! For winter stays only, Elevated Properties offers a courtesy property shuttle that operates on an on-call basis. Simply use our app Elevated Rides that works similarly to Uber or Lyft and request a ride anywhere in the mountain or downtown area. Information on downloading and using Elevated Rides will be provided prior to check-in.
Driving to Steamboat
Complimentary on-property parking is available at both Bear Claw & Edgemont. Each reservation is allowed only one parking space in the designated areas of each property. The Front Desk will register your vehicle and issue a parking pass upon arrival. All registered vehicles must have their Elevated Properties issued parking pass displayed on the dashboard at all times.
If you choose to drive to Steamboat Springs, follow these directions:
From Denver take 70 West, stay on 70 through the Eisenhower Tunnel, head north on 9 in Silverthorne, take a left on 40 in Kremmling, and that will take you over Rabbit Ears Pass into the valley of Steamboat Springs.
To get to the Bear Claw & Edgemont property head up Mt. Werner Rd from Highway 40, straight through Mt. Werner Cir as the road turns to Apres Ski Way. Head straight up the hill and take a left at Ski Trail Lane. The Front Desk is located in the main Bear Claw II building a half mile up Ski Trail Lane on the left.
