Strings Music Festival

Strings Music Festival presents music of the highest quality in an intimate mountain setting. Their winter festival includes a genre-spanning lineup featuring classical musicians from the nation’s top orchestras and chart-topping popular contemporary artists. Live Music at the Elevated Properties Bar

February 5th, 2023 from 4-7pm. Join us at the Elevated Properties Bar (located in Bear Claw II) for live music by Ben Calkins. Ben is a solo acoustic looping guitarist who uses minimal equipment to create the right atmosphere for any event! He will be performing a mix of classical lounge music with blues and fusion original jams. The bar and lounge is open daily from 3-10pm this ski season, and is available to all Bear Claw and Edgemont guests and owners.

Live Music at the Elevated Properties Bar

February 8th, 2023 from 4-7pm. Join us at the Elevated Properties Bar (located in Bear Claw II) for live music by Mike Martinez. Mike will be performing a variety of acoustic covers and instrumental originals with his guitar and keyboard. The bar and lounge is open daily from 3-10pm this ski season, and is available to all Bear Claw and Edgemont guests and owners.

Steamboat Winter Carnival

February 9th-13th, 2023. The Winter Carnival celebration includes a variety of events that embrace Steamboat's western heritage and highlight our tradition of winter sports. This unique event includes everything from kids pulled on skis behind horses down a snow-covered main street, to the Lighted Man at the Night Show Extravaganza who's battery-powered suit weighs 70 pounds.

Light Up the Night Celebration

February 18th, 2023 from 5:30pm-6:30pm. View the beauty of six magnificent hot air balloons that will illuminate the Mountain Village at Steamboat Resort. Spectators can stroll among the standing balloons or watch from the warmth of a slope side eatery. The grand finale is the Fireworks and Torchlight Parade. Get ready for the Steamboat Light the Night Celebration, it is going to be a blast.

WinterWondergrass 2023

March 3rd-5th, 2023. Each year, the WinterWondergrass Festival heads to Steamboat for a family-friendly weekend of bluegrass music and fun. Their mission is to create a platform for artists, vendors, attendees, and our planet to unite as one - connecting the community. Bud Light Rocks the Boat Concert Series

March 11th, 2023. Steamboat will be rockin’ during the winter ski and snowboard season as the Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert series returns offering a great mixture of musical genres. The series has featured everything from bluegrass to New Orleans style rhythm and blues and traditional Irish music to flat out rock and roll.

Springalicious

April 1st-9th, 2023. Incredible Colorado bluebird sunny days, hilarious and fun events and a boatload of snow mean spring will shine a whole lot brighter in Steamboat-Ski Town, U.S.A.®. Steamboat celebrates the close of the winter season with a weeklong festival, including Springalicious festivities, fun events such as the Cardboard Classic and Splashdown Pond Skim and several FREE music concerts.

41st Annual Cardboard Classic

April 8th, 2023. The Cardboard Classic, Steamboat’s traditional rite of spring, celebrates over four decades of fun homemade crafts constructed only from cardboard, glue, string, water-based paint, duct tape and masking tape racing down the face of Stampede to a hysterical finish. The creativity of the race makes it an event to look forward to every year.

Splashdown Pond Skim

April 9th, 2023. Springalicious will feature its signature Splashdown Pond Skim competition to close out the season. Steamboat’s bravest (and maybe craziest) skiers and riders attempt to cross an ice-cold pond at the base of the mountain.
