The multi-use complex of Old Town Hot Springs is located in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs. It boasts eight natural mineral water hot pools, two water slides, fitness center, aquatic rock-climbing wall, kid’s area, and more. Strawberry Park Hot Springs is located on the edge of the Yampa Valley and features thermal pools ranging in temperature from 101-106 degrees Fahrenheit. COVID-19 restrictions include both locations operating at limited capacity and reservations are required at this time. Please wear a mask whenever not in the water and observe social distancing when possible. Restrooms are still available, but changing rooms are limited. Only cash will be accepted for entry fees. No credit or debit cards.

Saddleback Ranch

After all the travel to get here, you may want someone else to show you around. Gather your group and book an experience with Saddleback Ranch. Enjoy a 1–2-hour experience over the hills and through the trees and mountain scenery of Saddleback Ranch. You’ll see the Flattops, Sleeping Giant, and Mt. Werner, and many other Steamboat Springs breathtaking landmarks. When you reserve online, you can opt to be picked up at the Mt. Werner Transit Center. There are no reservations and it’s first-come, first-served if you choose to drive yourself.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

For a different view of the area, head up, up, and away in a hot air balloon with Wild West Balloon Adventures.  Due to wind and weather conditions, flights only take place in the early morning. Included in the experience is a continental breakfast, champagne toast, and each group member will receive a flight certificate to commemorate the ride. Ask about group, senior, military, and child discount rates when booking. Flights may be canceled due to weather or other safety risks.

Biking

Once you’ve spent some time in the car on your road trip here, get out and stretch your legs. Known as “Bike Town, USA” Steamboat Springs offers plenty of biking opportunities.
